PROF. SALVATORE SIRACUSANO, UROLOGIST

Professor Siracusano primarily focuses on uro-oncological surgery and functional surgery, with particular reference to male and female urinary incontinence.

Prof. Salvatore Siracusano, born in Padua on 19 April 1960, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Genoa in 1984. He obtained his Specialisation Diploma in Urology from the University of Genoa in 1989 and in Microsurgery and Experimental Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1993.

    Hospital Director at the Urological Clinic of Trieste from 1995 until 28 February 2005 and Associate Professor from 1 March 2005 until 30 October 2015 at the Urological Clinic of the University of Trieste. Since 1 November 2016, he has held the position of Associate Professor at the Urological Clinic of the University of Verona located in Borgo Trento Hospital at the Confortini Centre.


    In 2014, he obtained national scientific qualification to serve as a Full Professor of Urology. Professor Siracusano is the author of over 400 scientific publications and is a member of major national and international scientific societies in the field, holding positions within them.
